Participants of the third Sino-German Sci-tech Forum visited QGM
Established in 1913, Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA) is the largest organization for overseas-educated scholars with the longest history in China.
In October 2013, at the conference celebrating the centenary of WRSA, President Xi Jinping made it clear that WRSA should strive to become a dynamic force in people-to-people diplomacy. To this end, WRSA launched the Sino-German Sci-tech Forum in 2018, with the aim of enhancing friendly exchanges between China and Germany through science and technology and consolidating popular support for China-German friendship.
Co-hosted by the Western Returned Scholars Association (Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China) and Quanzhou government, the third Sino-German Sci-tech Forum opened in Quanzhou, Fujian province on May 24.
On May 25, participants of the forum visited representative enterprises, famous tourist and cultural attractions, and intangible cultural heritage exhibition galleries in Quanzhou. As a leading enterprise of ecological block-making equipment, QGM welcomed visiting participants of the forum who were accompanied by Mr. Fu Binghuang, chairman of QGM.
In the exhibition hall on the first floor of QGM, Manager Pan from the Domestic Marketing Department introduced the development history of QGM to the guests of the forum, displayed the Intelligent Equipment Cloud Service Platform, and conveyed that QGM always adheres to the business philosophy of "Quality Decides Value, Professionalism Creates Enterprise" and its customer-oriented principle. The introduction received positive comments from the guests.
In the display area of solid waste comprehensive utilization, Manager Pan taking the model of a production line of automatic ecological block-making equipment as a starting point, introduced that QGM starts by increasing the added value of products and comprehensively utilizes solid waste raw materials. QGM’s self-developed ecological intelligent equipment production line, production process, and a high value-added small precast unit like sponge city permeable block, garden landscape block, and PC block made from solid waste, jointly solve the recycling of solid waste and benefits the enterprises economically.
At the Eco-concrete Masonry Material and Engineering Technician Training Center, the guests visited the Central Laboratory and praised the various precision instruments used for raw material inspection and testing in the laboratory and the raw materials neatly placed for resource utilization in the glassware in various forms of block, powder, and particle. QGM’s mode of green factory construction and the business philosophy of green development was highly praised by the guests.
On the second floor of the training base, the guests watched the demonstration of QGM’s Digital Twins Technology and had great interest and high evaluation of the technology that copies the real production line digitally, simulates the actions of the production line under the real environment, and conducted a virtual simulation of the design, process, manufacturing and even the whole block factory of the production line.
QGM’s acquisition of Zenith Maschinenfabrik GmbH in 2014 forged an indissoluble bond with Germany. In the future, QGM will continue to enhance mutual trust, deepen cooperation and achieve common development by further exchanges and giving full play to its strength.
